Waypoint Underwriting Management, a division of Brown & Brown, today announced that it has entered into a Reinsurance Intermediary Management Agreement with MEM Mutual Insurance Company (MEM) to underwrite Property, Casualty, and Workers Compensation treaty reinsurance business on MEM’s behalf.
Under the agreement, Waypoint will begin quoting business effective July 1, 2026. The addition of MEM as a capacity carrier partner further expands the firm’s ability to provide diversified, highly rated reinsurance capacity to brokers and ceding companies across the United States.
MEM carries an A- (Stable) Financial Strength Rating from AM Best and reported policyholder surplus of $393.4 million as of year-end 2025.
