Waypoint Underwriting Management Secures Property Reinsurance Management Agreement with Highly-Rated specialty (re)insurer, Tokio Marine Kiln

Basking Ridge, NJ  – Waypoint Underwriting Management, part of Arrowhead Specialty, today announced it has entered into a reinsurance Managing General Underwriter (MGU) agreement with Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK), a leading international specialty Lloyd’s insurer, effective January 1, 2026.

Under the agreement, Waypoint will underwrite a diversified portfolio of property reinsurance business on behalf of TMK. This partnership marks an expansion of Waypoint’s capacity and existing relationship with Tokio Marine Kiln, reinforcing its commitment to providing cedents and broker partners with efficient access to superior, financially secure capital in the reinsurance marketplace.

TMK’s syndicates benefit from the Lloyd’s chain of security and Lloyd’s own ratings, A+ (superior) from AM Best, AA- (very strong) from Standard & Poor’s and AA- (very strong) from Fitch.
